Drinking 2020-2026An energetic wine with lovely length, the expressive bouquet displays attractive white peach and stone fruit characters with some delicate apricot and fig notes. The palate is more restrained and reveals its terroir. Silky smooth white citrus and pithy orange fruit characters are balanced by lively mineral qualities. A wine with the potential to age, it should also be approachable in a few years. Drink from 2018.

The vision of Anne-Claude Leflaive in the 1990s took this Puligny Montrachet Domaine to the heights of white wine production, not only in Burgundy but in the rest of the world. Today, her nephew Brice de La Morandière - who has had a successful career running multinational companies - continues her philosophy of organic, biodynamic viticulture, bringing Chardonnay grapes to their best possible expression in Grand Cru and Premier Cru climates, where the terroir has been restored to health by natural practices.
