The purity of fruit to this is truly outstanding, with dried strawberries, spices and flowers, including roses. Full body with ultra-fine tannins and a beautiful fruit-tannin balance. Super-elegant. This is a joy to taste now but will reward those who are patient. Wait until 2016 and see.

A rich, dark wine with superb intensity of flavour and great balance from a unique vineyard site at the top of the hill. The elegant bouquet is reminiscent of delicate strawberries, roses and ripe red fruits with a hint of exotic herbs and truffles. The palate is rich and layered with generous, dark cherry flavours balanced by smooth, velvety tannins and refreshing acidity. Exotic spices, truffles and chocolate with wild herb characters and a mineral note on the finish add depth and complexity. This very complex wine will be delicious to drink in a few years.
