Maris boasts a world-first carbon-negative winery constructed from hemp bricks, while the vineyards are hand-harvested and tilled by a horse-drawn plough. Sales of their wine support local wildlife and biodiversity initiatives such as L’Aspas and La Masion de L’Abeille, and they have even made headlines for shipping wine to the USA by sailboat!
