The Girard family comes from several generations of winemakers in the tiny village of Chaudoux, located a few miles northwest of the town of Sancerre and directly north of Chavignol. Alain Girard is currently at the helm and lovingly tending 12 hectares of vines: only the best of their production is bottled under their label. A state of the art cellar with all best the modern technology combined with traditional viticultural practices and minimum intervention in both vineyard and cellar result in a beautifully crafted Sancerre.
