El Vinculo started as a challenge: to produce high-quality wine in La Mancha, an area of central Spain with no reptutation for fine wine. It is no surprise that the Fernández Rivera family, creators of Pesquera, succeeded. Located in Campo de Criptana, a town whose windmills were made famous in Don Quixote, the wines are produced from old vines rescued by the family.
