2019 Michele Satta Bolgheri Rosso, Tuscany, Italy - £24
“… a terrific edition of this signature Satta wine… crushed red berry fruit intermingled with sweet spice, leather, tobacco and mint, all in a style that emphasizes greater freshness than in the past. “An intensely perfumed bouquet evokes ripe black raspberry, cherry cola, potpourri, tobacco and exotic spices, plus a smoky mineral flourish. Sweet and broad in the mouth, offering lush red and blue fruit, spicecake, mocha and coconut flavors that firm up on the back half. Mixed Case 3:The Collector

2017 Fleuron 1er Cru, Champagne Gimonnet et Fils, Champagne, France - £56.43
“A stunningly vibrant Blanc de Blancs that could easily pass as Extra Brut. Excellent interplay of lemon freshness, creaminess and racy acidity on the elegant palate. The long and expressive finish makes me think of waves crashing over a rocky shoreline! Drink or hold.” - 94 points, James Suckling

2018 Chardonnay, Bien Nacido, Santa Maria Valley, California, USA - £39.68
“The 2018 Chardonnay Bien Nacido emerges from the W Block, one of the old-vine blocks on the properties. White flowers, mint, green orchard fruit and white pepper give this translucent Chardonnay its incredibly distinctive personality. These old vines yield a Chardonnay of notable brightness, tension and transparency.” - 95 points, Antonio Galloni, Vinous

NV Leander Pink Non Vintage Brut, Digby Fine English, Hampshire, UK - £33.50
“30% Chardonnay, 50% Pinot Noir, 20% Pinot Meunier. Impressively evolved aromas of red stone fruits and flowers, and a precise, well-made quality to the palate. Loads of rising bubbles - tantalising! - and attractive rhubarb and sour cherry elements over crisp fresh acidity.” - 91/100, Decanter World Wine Awards

2020 Guidalberto, Tenuta San Guido, Tuscany, Italy - £38.23
“The 2020 Guidalberto is taut and tight with plenty of tart cherry and wild berry. The wine offers great freshness and tension with bay leaf, spice, wild cherry and pressed lavender buds. There is a hint of black olive too.” - 92 points, Monica Larner, Wine Advocate

2018 Gevrey-Chambertin Symphonie, Domaine Alain Burguet, Burgundy, France - £48.28
"The 2018 Gevrey-Chambertin "Symphonie" (tasted with classical piano tinkling away on the radio as I sat in their office!) has a delightful red cherry and bergamot bouquet that unfolds seductively in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins and a fine bead of acidity. Very harmonious on the finish, which feels caressing. This comes highly recommended." - 90-92 Points, Neal Martin, Vinous

2018 Maris Brama, Château Maris, South of France - £52.68
“On the palate, juicy rich blackcurrants portray great inner depth, with leafy cassis freshness, subtle pomelo fruit and perfectly balanced, feline acidity… this is beautifully well-crafted and structured, reflecting its ageing in large barrels and concrete eggs. Love it!” - 92 points, Elizabeth Gabay, MW, Decanter
