Understanding the value in Tiberio

Tiberio has seen a meteoric rise in the press over the last couple of years. Eric Asimov of the New York Times highlighted them as “one of my favourite producers” and featuring the wine several times recently, because “it’s so good it deserves the attention”. Eric Guido of Vinous recently described Tiberio as “a beacon […] easily one of the top three producers in the region”. The other top producers often cited alongside Tiberio are Emidio Pepe and Valentini – whose Trebbiano wines retail at £50 to £125 a bottle!

The value here is quite unbelievable.

"A hugely expressive and deep nose, with sparkling minerality and deep citrus-fruit notes and with a hint of liquorice. On the palate, electrifying acidity cutting through ripe citrus fruit. Fantastic length and vibrancy. […]Simply gorgeous and something for Riesling lovers”

About The ProducerAgricola Tiberio

Located in the rugged Adriatic region of Abruzzo, Cristiana Tiberio’s 30 ha estate has fast gained a reputation for her unapologetic take on what the wines of her region should be.
