Bruno Giacosa's legacy was defined by his astonishing ability to identify Piedmont's greatest terroirs. He is often labelled a traditionalist, but this is misleading. He was a trailblazer, in the truest sense of the word, identifying the perfect locations for complex, long-lived Nebbiolo, from which he coaxed some of the most extraordinary expressions of Barbaresco and Barolo.
