The UK’s premier luxury watch fair returned to London's iconic Saatchi Gallery on the weekend of November 2-4, 2017. In its' ninth year, Salon QP is the must-attend event for watch connoisseurs, fashion aficionados and those passionate about design and craftsmanship.
Armit Wines teamed up with the Telegraph and QP magazine to host over fifty of the world’s greatest watchmakers. From established brands, such as Fabergé Audemars Piguet, Greubel Forsey Jamie Hayon, to Montblanc, Girard Perregaux, Garrick, Urban Jurgensen and Urwerk to up-and-coming designers, the fair captures timepieces in their full diversity.
There are few things quite so stylish as a watch. From their elaborate internal workings to their beautifully crafted faces, a good watch is a miniature masterpiece of design and technology.
Equal parts science and art, both wine and design combine place and culture, with texture, ageability, colour and structure, forming the best of cloth and bottle. So raise a glass to the marriage of style and stems—a beautiful pairing indeed.
Armit Wines' expert sommelier Alex Tilling guided guests through a selection of bespoke wines, specially curated for Salon QP. Showcasing different wines to complement the particular theme of that day or night.
Thursday evening, Black Tie, White Dial: wines that whisper not shout, timeless, effortless, seamless, wines that reflect the style and character of the winemakers and pay homage to a tradition of heritage and craftsmanship.
